The ZX-25R is quite the kit for a 250cc motorcycle, with looks matching its bigger siblings such as the ZX-6R and the ZX-10R.  The 25R is powered by a’ four-cylinder’ DOHC liquid-cooled 249cc engine, i.e. just over 60cc in each cylinder.

There are currently no confirmed production figures online, but reports say it peaks at nearly 60bhp, about 17,000rpm — yeah, you’ve read that right!

Kawasaki Ninja zx25r price in india will be around 4-5 Lakhs.

It will be available for base edition in two versions with prices starting from IDR 64.8 million and top-spec model IDR 73.2 million.

Back in the late’ 80s, Japan’s’ bubble era,’ a combination of Japanese licensing laws and an insatiable desire for production led to a rapid burst of innovation at 250cc four-cylinder sports bikes.

Just for a few, short years, the Honda CBR250R, Suzuki GSX-R250, Yamaha FZR250R, and Kawasaki ZXR250 were sold, momentarily offering road-going riders the sight of motorcycles that resurrected to 20,000 rpm.

Now Company taking the recently unveiled Kawasaki Ninja ZX 25R back to those days. These bikes can not be as good as the traditional modern or any other fair alternative of the day.

Nonetheless, for those low-capacity multi-cylinder bikes, the consumer focus was different.

We are meant for those who want to run on the total top — peaking at more than 17,000rpm in a straight line and putting the time’s V10 Formula 1 cars in the acoustic department nearby.

Bringing a quarter-liter inline is not a new invention. There have been many of them in the 80s and 90s, but we remain careful of such a motorcycle that remains in the real world.

But higher tax rates for motorcycles above 250cc in countries like Japan and Indonesia are where the new requirement arises.

Which, unfortunately, may also mean marketing the motorcycle solely in South East / East Asian markets. Many of the experts think that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX 25R gonna be big hit if it will be released in India.

The launch date of Kawasaki Ninja ZX 25R in India is not yet confirmed.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX25R Pre-Bookings open in New Zealand.

For his latest quarter-liter motorcycle, the ZX25R, Kawasaki has begun pre-ordering in New Zealand. The corporation has also reported the price of the forthcoming edition at 15,990 New Zealand dollars (excluding the ORC). The ZX25R deliveries are scheduled to commence in December 2020.

In New Zealand, the motorcycle will not be available. Rather it will be imported based on customer orders placed. Much the same as the Ninja H2, H2R, and other unstocked versions in New Zealand.

In its press release the company confirmed that the four-cylinder, a quarter-liter motorcycle is primarily built for the Indonesian and Japanese markets.

In March this year, the company had begun bookings in Indonesia while the launch was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

ZX 25 R Exhaust note

Kawasaki Ninja ZX 25R has been one of the world’s most anticipated motorcycles ever since it broke cover at Tokyo Motor Show last year. And for that, there’s a simple reason — ZX 25R is a four-cylinder 250 cc in-line bike, which makes it a pocket rocket. Now the bike’s production model was supposed to debut last month but due to the coronavirus outbreak that plan has now been pushed. Nonetheless, Kawasaki has continued to keep the hype about the bike alive by teasing it on its handles on social media, sharing important information about the bike each time.

And the latest teaser shows the upcoming quarter-liter Kawasaki bike will come with a host of performance parts, most notably the Yoshimura performance exhaust system. Now, of course, as a standard, it is not available on the bike, but it definitely makes for an interesting performance enhancer and will help the engine more powerful than the stock exhaust canister.

The latest teaser shared by Kawasaki Indonesia shows a technician firing up the engine of a ZX25R that has been fitted with Yoshimura exhaust. He slowly revs the engine to warm it up and then goes aggressive with the throttle. The effect is firing from the canister a throaty-growl and blue flames. Needless to say, this exhaust system will also help the engine deliver more power, which is why buyers will most likely choose this performance enhancer if they want to take their Kawasaki Ninja ZX 25R to a race track. And the company also offers a host of other performance parts for such riders, such as carbon-fiber fairing, rear-set footpegs, etc.
