Ducati Monster 821
Ducati Monster 821 is a Super sports bike available in 1 model in India. Its price starts at ₹10,99,000 (ex-showroom). Ducati Monster 821 with its 821cc engine produces 107 bhp of power and 86 nm of torque. Monster 821 dual cylinder engine has a six-speed manual gearbox. The Ducati Monster 821 also has an anti-locking braking feature for both the rear and front disk brakes. Monster 821 weighs around 206 kg and comes in 3 colours.
The Monster 821 is the in-range mid-spec Beast. It draws influence from design from the original Monster 900 from 1992 and makes its look more appealing than ever. Now the exhaust muffler looks similar to that on the 1200S giant.
The Ducati Monster 821 gets an LED headlamp, an instrument cluster color monitor that now shows gear position and fuel level in the tank. The engine remains the same as before but owing to the stricter emission requirements the output rating has fallen to 107bhp and 86Nm.

The gearbox is still a six-speed gearbox, but as an alternative, it now gets a two-way quick shifter which will come as a relief to anyone who has driven the older Monster 821 in traffic! The box also contains a slipper bag. As comprehensive as before, the electronics kit remains – three riding modes, three-level ABS, and eight-step traction control. Another alternative is a Bluetooth compatible system.
The Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple S, Yamaha MT 09, and Suzuki GSX-S750 clash with the Ducati Monster 821.

Ducati Monster 821 Speciality

It’s been 25 years since Ducati introduced the naked sport-bike category with the M900 and since then they have pushed the Monster’s 323,000 versions — making it the most famous bike in the brand’s history. It’s only appropriate that the 2018 Monster 821 has earned a range of updates, some copied from the top of the line Monster 1200 and others made up for use only on this particular model. Giovanni Antonacci, Senior Designer for the 1200 and 821, best describes the cycle of thinking which led to the new Ducati Monster 821.

In addition to the three riding modes that are accessed from a new (and we should say particularly crisp TFT screen), there are eight traction control levels and three different Bosch ABS rates to choose from. Clearly, Ducati casts the largest net ever for future Monster riders and provided that their combination of approachable and competitive riders is well matched, the Monster 821 will certainly continue to be very well received in the coming years.
The words of Antonacci certainly translate when you look at the latest Ducati Monster 821 Beast. It really really well fits its version of the closely sculpted shirt. It’s also one of the most convenient tanks when flipping the wheel back and forth on a twisting path to brace your knees with.
Nothing is more exciting than good design that turns into a pleasant experience, particularly for something that a person relates to just as closely as a motorcycle. The aforementioned all-new asymmetric exhaust pulls a driver in deeper with his raspy yell at moments of vigorous throttle use, as well as a fair amount of pops and burbles while coasting off throttle.
