BMW S1000 RR is a Superbike sold in 3 versions in India. The lowest version ends at ₹ 18,50,000 (ex-showroom) and the highest version at ₹ 22,95,000 (ex-showroom). BMW S1000 RR uses the 999cc engine to produce 200.8 bhp of power and 113 nm of torque.

The S1000RR is BMW’s signature supersport motorcycle, completely overhauled for 2019. The most prominent feature of the 2019 BMW S1000RR is the twin LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs which replace its predecessor with distinctive uneven headlamps.
BMW still packs technological wizardry into their bikes and the S1000RR is no different. The motorcycle is fitted with a Bluetooth-enabled full-colour TFT instrument screen. A dynamic traction control system, hill-start assist, Shift Assist Pro, dynamic engine braking, IMU six-axis, wheelie control, launch aid, and ABS are also supported.It also features BMW’s ShiftCam technology that controls the intake-side valve timings and strokes.
The BMW S1000 RR 2019 is available in three different color versions and three versions, Pro and Pro M Sport. Such trimmings vary from each other in terms of the hardware they sell and the technological aids. The four-in-line 998 cc engine is also new in the S1000RR, putting out 204 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque along with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick-shifter. S1000RR comes with Shift cam technology from BMW Motorrad, which varies the time and stroke of the valve on the intake side to provide an improved output at bottom and medium.
The new S1000RR engine is 4 kg lighter than the previous one, and the new exhaust is only 1.3 kg lighter than on the previous one. The new model weigher than the old BMW S1000 RR is currently 197 kg, which is 11 kg lighter.

S1000 RR History
2001 – 2009 (S1000RR)
The BMW S1000RR was launched in 2009 and was deemed the best-equipped sportbike in the category 1000 cc, which had the highest bore in its class with a bore which stroke of 80.0 mm / 49.7 mm (3.1 in 2.0 in both).
The S1000RR came factory packed with ABS and active stability control, which at the time was a first for a road-going superbike. In addition, S1000RR came standard with three riding modes (Wet, Sport, and Race) with an additional riding mode (Slick) available only after attaching a dongle to a special jack under the seat that you got with the wheel. Also, S1000RR was the first production motorcycle to offer an optional fast shifter.
Superbike World Championships (S1000RR)
Spanish driver Rubén Xaus signed on 26 June 2008 to race the s1000rr for the BMW Motorrad factory team. Australian two-times Superbike World Champion Troy Corser signed on September 25, 2008, to complete the two-rider lineup for the 2009 season.
The best race result achieved by Corser in the 2009 Superbike World Championship season was fifth in the Czech Republic and Xaus was seventh in Italy
Isle of Man TT. (S1000RR)
Since 2010 the BMW S1000RR has been used by various riders at the Isle of Man TT. Michael Dunlop won the superbike series race on his factory-prepared bike on 31 May 2014, which was entered by Hawk Racing, a UK-based BSB team running as Buildbase BMW Motorrad, closing a 75-year period between BMW races.
Three days later, Dunlop replicated his win in the Superstock division with his own MD Racing BMW flag flying under it. When a road bike wins a TT, it’s perfect for a manufacturer.” Dunlop achieved a BMW triumph hat trick with a Senior TT win on Friday, June 6 with BMW S1000 RR.
