Aprilia RSV4 History
The Aprilia RSV4’s history is one of the most successful and ever triumphant superbikes in the factory derived category for a single machine. This famous Italian rsv4 has won seven world titles in the World Superbike Championship from 2009 to the present, further secured-in the 2015 season-by the FIM CUP Superstock 1000 Driver and Manufacturer Awards. It is an exceptional achievement in racing that derives from the factory model’s professional excellence, continually reconfirmed by its repeated victories in competitive competitions conducted by the most reputable international motorcycle periodicals.
In 2015, Aprilia joined some of its rivals in the uber-exclusive 200bhp club, boasting 201bhp from the naturally-aspirated 999cc V4 engine loaded into their RSV4 RR.
Although this increase of power offers much-needed fodder in the pub bragging rights stakes, the Aprilia managed so well, that when driven on a track, the old machine was more than able to account for this deficiency.
The Italian stallion provided modifications on its chassis components to better accommodate the additional horses, keeping the same twin-spar aluminum frame customizable with a fettled engine and steering position. There is also a lower center of gravity, and a swingarm 4 mm longer. The Aprilia RSV4 RR and RSV4 RF both became Euro4-compliant with limited upgrades in 2017. Aprilia RSV4 production line bikes are one of the most powerful bikes in the world.
